came first.

My father opened Card & Party Shop on Newland Avenue in 2011. For fifteen years it has been one of Hull's longest-running celebration-supply stores — the kind of business that learns what actually works in East Yorkshire venues, what holds through a long evening, and what matters when a deadline is close.

C&P Balloons is the studio that grew out of that foundation. Not a rebrand — an offshoot. The parent business kept running; we built something new on top of it. It started when it became clear Hull needed a premium displays studio to match the quality the parent business had been quietly producing for fifteen years.
